"We are from New Jersey and gardening here in Arizona is much more challenging. I have many and varied plants. We like to think that our property is an oasis in the middle of the desert and it is important to us and the denizens of the desert who live here or refresh themselves here, too. Our irrigation system was 17 years old. For the past 5 years our system was seriously deteriorating. The lines were brittle, cracking, breaking, leaking and flooding. I’m almost 80 years old and it had gotten to the point that I couldn’t make the repairs that were needed. Mike surveyed our system and assessed our situation.
